Other Connections & Needs

The friend or family member who was driving me to my medical appointments can no longer do so because of COVID-19. How can I get rides to treatment?

Please contact our office as soon as possible so we can determine if you eligible for transportation assistance — and how we can best provide you with safe transport (or gas gift cards) to ensure you continue your vital cancer treatment and medical appointments.

My cancer patient or caregivers support group has been canceled or I am not comfortable with group meetings. Is there other online or phone support available?

YES! Our Patient Buddy Mentor program can provide you with a trained and compassionate person to talk to via phone or email/online. Also, if you’re just feeling isolated because of cancer treatment or while caring for a cancer patient — we can match you with a helpful member of our new “Patient Buddy Mentor Auxiliary Team” who can check in with you a couple of times each week via phone or email.
